In the dye industry, it serves as a key intermediate for cationic dyes, for manufacturing functional dye varieties such as Cationic Brilliant Red FG and Cationic Pink B. It can also be used for synthesizing other special dyes and pigments.
In the rubber industry, it acts as a synthetic raw material for rubber additives to produce products including rubber accelerator ZMPC, so as to enhance rubber vulcanization efficiency and the performance of finished rubber articles.
In the pesticide sector, it is employed for synthesizing intermediates of insecticides such as buprofezin. In organic synthesis, it can function as an acid‑absorbing agent and solvent. It is also used as a centralite in explosive manufacturing.
